The Cradle of Forestry in the Pink Beds
I was commissioned by the Cradle of Forestry Interpretive Association of America to create the new 7½’ wide centerpiece for the Cradle of Forestry Historic Site. This photograph was taken along the Blue Ridge Parkway and depicts the 6,500 acre valley set aside by Congress to commemorate the beginning of forest conservation in the United States.
